Judging from the pics I think hell be long haired. I had 2 kittens that were fluffier when we first got them but not as much as yours and they were short haired when they grew. My aunty had a blue persian and he was a total fluff ball when he was a kitten.
Btw lovely pics esp the last one with your LO. Check if it has tufts of fur between the toes. Thats a sign that most long and medium-long haired cats share.
